Peggy Bamford
Peggy Bamford is a small textile design company specialising in printed textiles for fashion accessories. Peggy's work is unique and pushes the boundaries of traditional printing, combining the processes of silk screen printing and modern digital print technologies.
Peggy's passion for colour, texture and natural movement within textiles creates unique, individual, wearable pieces for the everyday or that special occasion.
Peggy is very much against mass production within the fashion and interiors industry and has made sure all her products are hand-made in England.
A unique, bespoke service allows you to choose your own colour scheme and design for either ties, cravats or scarves, ideal for the groomsmen of a wedding party.
The History
Peggy graduated from the Royal College of Art where she specialised in Printed Textiles. From here she went on to work in Switzerland for the renowned couture textile designer, Jakob Schlaepfer where she designed and worked on fabrics for Chanel, Chakra and Atrache.
This then led her to a commission from Aston Martin Lagonda Ltd where she designed and printed their collection of luxury ties and scarves.
Since then she has worked for the high-end interiors market, working on projects for luxury London hotels and also for Laura Ashley designing wallpapers and drape fabrics.
Peggy now uses her training and creative flair to design and produce exquisite bespoke luxury neck wear for him and for her.
